WHAT AEROSAN IS
Aerosan nasal filter is an innovative DPI Cat. 3, recently tested in Italy. Economical, practical, almost invisible, non-invasive, this endo-nasal filter is the ideal product to protect nasal mucosa against bacteria, viruses, pollens and other microorganisms and allergens. Thanks to its effectiveness and comfort, Aerosan nasal filter can be used not only to guarantee the best working conditions for operators, but also to protect yourself against seasonal or perennial allergic rhinoconjunctivitis.
In accordance with UNE-EN ISO-IEC17025, it is proved that Aerosan filter media efficiency is 52% in stressful working conditions, and 80% in normal conditions.
HOW AEROSAN IS MADE
Aerosan is composed by a couple of truncated cones made of anti-allergic and bio-compatible material, and covered by a layer of special bio-gel. The special bio-gel covers the inner surface of the filter, which contains a net of micro-spirals. Micro-spirals help to increase air turbulence, enlarge the inner surface of the filter and minimize air flow resistance.
HOW AEROSAN WORKS
Aerosan filtration system is based on a double action:
1. a mechanical barrier, thanks to the shape of the inner side of filter and the micro-spirals contained in it
2. a local anionic charge.
Filter shape allows a better air turbulence and it increases the probabilities that particles in the air collide with filter inner side, which is covered by a special bio-gel. Filter shape also reduces air flow resistance and allows a normal breathing. The local anionic charge attracts microorganisms and fine dust in the air, and the bio-gel traps them definitively.
HOW YOU CAN USE AEROSAN
It can be worn and removed several times during the use. It is specifically designed to be easily inserted and fixed inside the nostrils of different types and sizes. The little truncated cones are connected by a thin external suspender which facilitates the correct positioning and safe removal of the device. Once worn, it is almost invisible and so non-invasive that you may even forget to have it on.
